Background: Six cruises, Carnival- Royal C- Celebrity - Princess. No kids. First time with Norwegian.

Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth. Make sure to complete the online check in and documentation process with enough anticipation to be able to embark on the time you want, otherwise you'll have to pick the later hours. The same with the reservations for the main events you want to attend: certain sitting hours for shows and specialty dinning fill up fast! Free style cruising requires some not free style planning. The burden is on you.
