After hearing rave reviews about this ship, I went against my better judgement and left from New York in February with my wife and another couple. The day began when the incoming cruise arrived 3 hours late and our day went into a tailspin. We were not able to board the ship until 2 30pm with an expected departure at 3pm. We ended up pulling out at 6 30 pm with our Bon voyage party held while sitting in port. When we finally entered the ship there wasn't a crew member around to greet us or to welcome us with anything.

We were upgraded to a mini suite which is nothing but a balcony room with a larger bathroom. As different from other reviews that I read about meeting other passengers we were able to talk to people that have cruised this ship many times over including one person who was on this ship for the 3rd time in 12 weeks and they could not believe how poor things have gotten and how many negative changes have been made.

In my eyes a cruise is made by the cruise director. After the first day he was invisible for the entire week other than the intercom system. His assistant and the assistant to the assistant were attempting to get things done. We took the ultimate beverage package and on a room service delivery was charged for the soda because room service is not included in the package. Nickel and dimming you all over the entire ship. Other than the rock of ages show which was fantastic most entertainment was going to cost you money. Not the typical cruise.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Thought it was tiny.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Did our own off the ship. With our time very limited due to itinerary change the excursion prices were totally out of control

Nassau

Again did our own off the boat activities. Prices were disgusting.
