We had cruised the Royal Princess when it was new, loved it but there were a few flaws. The Royal and Regal are sister ships. On the Royal, the passengers were complaining because the elevators were at each end of the ship and none in the center. The Regal was under construction and it wasn't to late to correct their mistake. The Regal has center elevators and that's nice.

It would be nice though if there was a closed in pool. Passengers would appreciate it when it's cool or rainy. Sometimes it wasn't a good day for the pool.

Princess raves about about the celebrity chef's dishes. I was going to order the Mahi Mahi and our waiter didn't recommend it, saying the fish is very dry. Too bad. We always look forward to the prime rib on the first night. We did back to back sailings and both times, we were disappointed. We loved Sabatini's and Alfedo's
