The Staff was wonderful, food was ok, the specialty dining was excellent. The Princess Dance Team was also outstanding. I have always been a big fan of Princess but this was the worst ship my wife and I have ever experienced. Princess added more staterooms in the fantail of the ship so you cannot walk completely around the ship. They also converted the upper deck of the fantail into their private lounge (The Sanctuary) so you can no longer look at the water at the back of the ship.

The lines for anytime dining were 40 minutes to over an hour some nights. The Princess Theatre was too small for the number of people on the ship and you had to get there at least 30 to 45 minutes before a show or you wouldn't get in. I will never go on the Island Princess or a similar Princess Ship ever again.

This was our 7th cruise with Princess and will likely be our last because the ship was grossly overcrowded. The workout area was moved into the interior of the ship which was very dark and they had very little equipment so forget about working out on the Island Princess.
