We recently took a cruise on Voyage 9602A (Booking reference DM6J6V) on board Star Princess from Buenos Aires to Santiago (Valparaiso). Our stateroom was B401.

Let me say from the outset that this cruise was an absolute disgrace and disappointment, not just because of the cancelled ports, but also because of the (at times) rude/poor onboard service, the terrible standard of food and the multiple public announcement disruptions blasted into our cabin in the early hours of many mornings. I will give further details below but stress without doubt my wife and I WILL NEVER SAIL WITH PRINCESS AGAIN. Below is a summary why!

Countless public announcements waking us up in the early hours of the morning - Captain Stefano Ravera and Princess Cruises information policies need a huge kick in the butt. 4am, 5am , 5.45am, 6.15 am, 7am were the ridiculous times we were woken up by public announcements on multiple mornings by this captain under the banner of 'Important announcements'. Not only did the announcements ruin our sleep, Captain Ravera carried on and on and on like an academy award acceptance speech (then repeated in 2 more languages !). If your adverting slogan is "Come back new" ..........well we "Came back exhausted ! " cause you could forget getting back to sleep after those announcements blasted us in 3 languages from a speaker above our bed. What a ridiculous way and time to provide information. !!!!!!!!!!
