Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

This is our 4th Norwegian Cruise. Booked a month before so was very last minute. Was disappointed to see the negative reviews AFTER we made our booking. The Breakaway is a beautiful ship ! Nice and new.

EMBARKATION : EXCELLENT

CABINS : Beautiful ! We stayed in 13780 - mini suite. Balcony is a tad small and bedding was crappy and looked worn out and thin but the cabin was spacious and so was the bathroom. LOADS of packing space. We had 3 large suitcases which fitted under the bed. BATHROOM also had lots of packing space. There were however lots of creaks and squeaks when the ship was moving, mainly at night. Location near the Forward lifts & stairs was great.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

Embarkation and getting to the pier is easy.

St. Thomas

Pretty beach, good cocktails. shopping afterwards was same old, same old stuff. Boring.

Tortola

Beautiful tour but their should be a tour guide giving more explanations. also very very crowded and takes time.

St. Maarten

mirabella crew very professional. Exciting excursions ! leaves enough time for beach time at Great Bay after the excursion.

St. Maarten

brilliant !

Dominica

sulphur springs - not much to see except steam coming out of the ground.

Barbados

excellent although they took a while to get things going

Martinique

Boring ! Everything was closed !!! Tour was BAD.

Antigua

Facilities run down and old. Lunch was terrible. they told me the fish was "dolphin".
