Sail Date: Dec 2015

We booked Back to Back cruises on the Magellan, for a grand total of 56 nights and only got home yesterday the 16 of February 2016.

The Christmas and New Year cruise was without doubt our worst ever , and although the ship can't be held responsible for the weather, there were just so many things wrong.

Once we did get away many hours later than scheduled, and informed that the ports of call had changed , which then meant that we would be in Gibraltar one day late and we had planned to meet someone there , they failed to turn up on the 27th and that cause a few problems, the crossing both away and returning home was awful, and it appears that the ship struggles with rough seas. The result was people falling out of chairs, lifts being turned off and glasses falling out of the cabinet behind the bars and leaks coming through the roof of the Captain's lounge.
