Just got back from a fun 4-night cruise to the Bahamas on the NCL Sky. This is one of the older and smaller NCL ships. On the plus side, it offered the unlimited beverage package as standard, which is why I think that this ship had a much younger crowd on it....we saw more of the under-40 crowd than on our previous cruises (we are mid-50s).

On the negative side, this ship has no thermal spa - something I was very disappointed to learn after I was on board and will be sure to check next time before I book a cruise.

This was my 4th cruise and I have to say that the wait staff in the restaurants and the bar tending staff was the best I have ever encountered. I wasn't particularly impressed with my room steward - the first two cruises I was on, they came to the room and introduced themselves and were exceptionally friendly. Last year on the Gem and this year on the Sky, we barely saw our steward - although we did have clean towels every night, which was important.

Good location mid-ship, quiet. NCL rooms are notoriously small but I found that this room was larger than a comparable room I had on the Gem last year.
