The view from our table in the Renior dining room!

We have been on several cruises 2 with carnival and one with RC. This Cruise was just ok, mainly because we were on an older ship which did not have much to offer families. The cabin was in need of refurbishment for sure. Our sofa in the room was all stained up and even had some slashes in it. We also found it to be quite dusty, good thing I packed my own clorox wipes. The light switches, phone, and counter around tv had thick dust on it obviously had not been wiped off in awhile. Also the chairs on the balcony had bird poop all over them and the glass. So yes a little dissapointed that I had to spend a little time cleaning at first.

We did notice other areas around the ship that needed some attention as well, such as tiles in buffet area and some rust in some areas. As I have read in other reviews we too were dissapointed that the main pool and adult pool were closed at different times during the cruise which made for a very crowded pool that was open. Also the hot tubs were usually very crowded and sometimes hard to find a spot during sea days. We also found that people were kinda rude with saving chairs on lido and were unable to find chairs the one sea day because people had thier towels on them and were not even using them. So the 40 min policy is def not enforced.

As far as the food goes, my husband really enjoyed the burrito place and guys burger joint was good . We never had an issue with line there, most we waited was 5 minutes. The buffet was not too exciting, very limited . The main dining room was great for us! It was the highlight of this ship! We did my time dining and requested Assadee every night ! We absolutly loved her ! It was by far the best service we have ever had on any cruise!!!! We went down usually around 5:45 and had all three courses by 7 and were able to relax before the shows!
