Let me start by saying this was our 16th cruise; 14 with RC and 2 with other cruise lines. My first statement I HAVE to make is...DO NOT take all the negative reviews to heart. We went on this ship very skeptical even though we don't put much stalk into negative reviews because there will always be people that you can't please no matter what you do for them. Also, remember that most people will treat you as you treat them. If you go to a staff member and starting acting stupid and rude, you deserve it back. These people work hard to keep us happy and it has to get very discouraging to have people in your face being rude. That being said, I will begin my overall review.
Embarkation was the easiest we've ever had. We had our two teenage sons with us and my inlaws. We drove from home in PA to the port, hubby dropped us at the door and parked the car in the parking deck and was back to us with in 10 minutes. From there we walked up to one of many agents on the floor with Ipads who checked us in within minutes; I will point out that "I" made a mistake and did not print out my personal Seapass but had everyone else's. I was pointed to an agent who handled that and she printed mine without any trouble and we proceeded to get on the ship immediately. That process took about ten to fifteen minutes total. We went and had lunch and walked the ship until we could get into our cabin.
Cabin: Superior balcony on the 10th floor forward. We got into it promptly at 1:00. It was beautiful and clean. We could have used a bit more room but it's not like we are looking to live there, so no use complaining about a temporary situation that could be rectified if I wanted by paying for a suite. Our cabin steward was courteous and did his job. He didn't WOW us but that's okay...we weren't looking for him to do anything but make our beds daily and give us fresh towels.
We toured on our own.

We didn't do anything but park our car and board the ship here.
Awesome!
