Farewell till next time Radiance of the Seas.

My wife & I cruised on Voyager of the Seas last year and we had heard so many good reports on the Radiance that we just had to try her out. What a wonderful ship she is, a nice size, crewed by a fantastic group of people.

On arrival at the OPT at 12:00 pm our bags were dispatched and we went through all checks without a hitch and boarded within 20 minutes, cabin was ready at 1:00 pm and bags arrived by 3:00 pm.

Balcony cabin 7598 is mid ship adjacent to the Centrum, when we were allocated this cabin we were worried that noise from the late night activities could be a problem as we are both light sleepers. Not a worry, shut the door and all you could hear was the water and wind through the balcony door.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Balcony cabin 7598 is mid ship adjacent to the Centrum, when we were allocated this cabin we were worried that noise from the late night activities could be a problem as we are both light sleepers. Not a worry, shut the door and all you could hear was the water and wind through the balcony door.

The big advantage of this cabin was it's position mid ship, we had one day which was a bit up and down and when you watched the bridge from the balcony you could see a great variation in it's position in regards to the horizon, we did not suffer from this movement.

The bathroom was as on the Voyager with ample room in the shower for my 85 kg frame, plenty of space for toiletries and never a shortage of hot water. Just make sure that the shower curtain sits within the lip of the shower recess.

Home Port.

Lifou

Neither of us are into snorkeling which would be the main attraction of Lifou.
