I want to start by saying that Anthem of the Seas is a beautiful ship, with a top notch crew, great food and fantastic entertainment. What makes this ship and the staff even more beautiful is the way a most difficult situation was handled. I am so disheartened to be listening to all the crazy tales floating around today and over the past few days particularly by the press and media.
Now I know everyone reacts differently to bad or scary situations. And I will admit I was scared for a short period, particularly when the dining table on our deck 12 balcony flew into the big glass window by our bed. But at no time did I feel my life was in jeopardy. So I know this is a ship review section, but I feel it is important to tell my version of this cruise to put my review in perspective.
Background:
This is a great cabin. Because of the location it has an extra big balcony. I can confirm there is no divider as was reported on the identical cabin on the opposite side. This cabin was always meant to be a grand suite. I loved the location on deck 12 close to elevators. It is lovely with a sitting room and bed room separated by a partial wall with a tv on each side. The wall does look nice but it also makes it a bit crowded. I think they should get a smaller coffee table. The bath is very nice with a tub and two sinks. It is very tastefully decorated in blue and brown tones. There is a coffee pot and coffee but no non-dairy creamer or sugar, so it is not really that useful to have in the cabin. I usually just go and get coffee in the morning in the Esplanade so was not a big deal.
