Australia and New Zealand are lovely places to visit. The weather can be unpredictable but the ports of call and the people make up for that.

The Solstice is an excellent ship, the cabins, public areas, gym, dining venues etc. are difficult to fault. The food is in general very good; we didn't use the speciality restaurants but the feed back suggested that they were fine. The entertainment was hit and miss, depending on what you like. The staff were good, with some exceptions.

Celebrity have introduced a new dress code for dining - "evening chic". Basically the same as smart casual if that's what you want to wear. Most men wore jacket and tie which is fine. The stubborn Brits (me) wore "Black Tie" as is right and proper. Not a good move Celebrity, it will come back to haunt you as standards steadily drop to shorts and flip flops. What happens then? Difficult to reinstate it.
