This was our first HAL cruise and we were pleased. The ship was decorated in subdued colors and was not "flashy". Service was excellent in the Vista dining room and food was a notch above Princess and Norwegian. Attentive wait staff, with experience. The Lido Buffet had small stations and a very good gluten free area with a wide selection of breads, pasta, bagels, etc. Much better than the dining room gluten free bread offering. I would go up to the buffet area, get my toast and bring it down to Vista. Breakfast was served Hot, not lukewarm like some other cruise lines.

We had a Signature Suite at a good value which was large and had a double balcony with a table & chairs & 2 comfy chairs with ottomans. We had ample room for storage, beds very comfy, desk and separate vanity area, couch & 2 club chairs. Bathroom vanity large with 2 sinks, 2 medicine cabinets, separate whirlpool tub w/shower and small stall shower which was almost impossible to use and not get water on the floor.

Entertainment more limited than large ship but BB King Blues Lounge terrific. Nightly piano/violin duo playing classical music. This ship has a Promenade deck, complete with teak lounge chairs! 2 pools, one covered. hydro spa area very nice, good gym with great views, equipment up to date. Crows Nest bar great view of the ocean with some wonderful reclining chairs.
