Sail Date: Feb 2016
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We have cruised on this particular ship on 3 previous occasions and love it. The Golden Princess is a large ship and has everything you could possibly want. We had a mini suite and this is the first time our cabin was forward.

Everything about the Golden is great. We enjoyed our meals in the Donatella dining room, the staff were fabulous as was the food. We went to the International Café on deck 5 everyday to enjoy the coffee and treats, which they had a great variety of. There was plenty of great activities on board, you could do as much or as little as you wanted and the entertainment was very good. We went to bingo most days and loved the trivia sessions. Also enjoyed some of the activities held around the pool area.

The food in the Horizons for breakfast was great, whether you wanted continental or cooked. Disembarkation was extremely smooth and on schedule.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

The cabin was a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were good and with the shower over the bath, it was not difficult to use. I have mobility issues and there are plenty of handrails to assist and steady you.

Port Reviews

Auckland

We stayed in Auckland the night prior to boarding. Auckland is a lovely city with heaps to do.
