The cruise was great and the scenery was simply stunning - one I would recommend to anyone wanting a chilled week or so. Unfortunately Britannia as a ship was a huge let down and felt unfinished, poorly planned, and simply far too big. They have created more cabins by shrinking the cabin sizes and the amenities.

The actual layout of the ship doesn't make sense. You're unable to walk all the way round the ship at lower level, unlike Ventura. To get to some parts you need to go up a floor, walk along, then back down a floor. They were still painting and varnishing parts of the ship and our Flatscreen TV came off the wall - it was wedged in using a piece of wood and velcro!

Food was reasonably good, however the staff weren't the most happiest in general. Showed no interest in you as an individual. The Special Dining restaurants are too small for the number of guests onboard. Every one on every night had sold out before we'd even set sail, as had the Live Lounge.
