Our week on the Escape was fantastic! We flew in the night before and stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport North. For a short stay we were impressed with the room. The next morning we were up and ready to go to the port. We had planned on using the shuttle service but it seemed like chaos. A taxi showed up and asked us if we wanted to go with him, it was only $5 more so we did.

Once at the port the process was quite smooth and fast. We proceeded thru all the steps in no time and made it to the pre boarding photo area. This is the spot that my girlfriend became my fiancé. After a approximately 10 minute wait our number was called to board. We ventured around the main lobby areas and saw the top decks before we decided to try to get to our room early. Our cabin was 8132 a M6 Mini Suite on deck 8. walking down the hall we ran into a cabin stewart Carmo, who wound up being in charge of our room. He gladly took us to view our cabin and gave us a full tour. He was a real highlight of our cruise.

Our Cabin was absolutely amazing, the balcony was huge and the layout was perfect. There are no real drawers but the storage was plenty for us. The spa shower was a real treat. during the week we ate at Cagneys (oh my god was this good) Moderno (not for us) O' Sheahans (a fun place) the buffet (actually really good) and the 3 free diners (also good).

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin M6

The cabin was great. The balcony was huge! Shower a real treat, storage was good. The location was perfect, a short walk from all of the life in the 6 7 8 Ocean Place, you go thru some doors next to the forward staircase and down a hall. Very quiet, no noises from the outside of the cabin. We could go from our cabin to anywhere on the ship in a few minutes very easily.
