We began with a horrible flying experience because of weather, but we couldn't control that so no impact on the cruise. We flew into FLL and stayed at the Ramada Air and Cruise Port. Not the best place, but adequate for sleep. We paid $15/pp for a shuttle to POM, and they took us in a Town Car. NICE!!!!

We arrived at POM about 12:30. Typical embarkation process. Porters took bags, we went inside, spent about 10 minutes in line, checked in, then had to wait about 15 minutes to get on the ship. Not a bad process. Much better than the first time we cruised (2002).

Once on the ship, we waited about 30 minutes before we could get in our room, so we went to Lido, ate lunch and had a drink. Once we could get in our rooms, we unpacked what we had, and took a nap. Got up to do the Muster drill.

the bathroom was tiny. The only noise we heard from lido was the night of the deck party and some mornings when chairs were being moved. Right by elevators that lead to the lido pool
