My boyfriend and I live in Miami and decided on a quick get-away. He had never cruised before so I was a bit worried he would not like it. I had cruised twice before with Carnival, this was my first time with RCCL. We arrived at the port by 11:15 am and 30 min. later we were already sipping our first drink by the pool bar, very smooth embarkation!!! Our rooms were ready by 1:00 pm and luggage arrived by apprx. 3 pm or so, again, very nice!

I was very impressed with the ship, lots of activities, too many to do for only two days at sea, very friendly staff everywhere on the ship. Loved the Dungeon bar and the pool party at night Miami style with DJ Anthony. The contest by the pool are very entertaining to watch, nice pools, only downside not enough beach chairs to accommodate everyone, if you don't grab a chair by early morning, everything is full by 10 am, so we really did not get as much sun as we wanted.

The food is the main dining room was good, not excellent, but good by all means. We did not get a chance to try out the speciality restaurants. As I said before, 5 days is really not enough to be able to enjoy everything on such a big ship.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Great balcony, lots of drawers, both inside closet and out, bathroom small but very efficient, great lighting in bathroom and good shower pressure, very clean cabin, we chose not to be close to elevator just in case, never heard noise outside. Not much privacy on balcony b/c your next door neighbors can hear every conversation you are having. Wake up calls were always on time, and room service was very prompt.
