I will leave out all the weather related issues because they are not Carnival's fault but it was 35 degrees in Orlando the day before the cruise. Almost like Alaska where you have to be prepared for everything. Embarkation was okay but a lot of people really got there early! We purchased transfers from the Orlando airport and were there around 11:00 am and there were tons of people there. Hurry up and wait. I don't drink a lot of soda but it seemed like everybody and a case to bring on board.

Ship looks okay but it is 20 years old and most of the renovations were about adding cabins for more revenue. Showroom was reduced to the point of being too small. Ship doesn't seem to have stabilizer wings so it was the rockiest boat I have been on in years. Showers are big because that's how they used to make them. You are not able to book excursions or check you account from the room. Most other ships have had this option for years. Lots of dead ends in the hallways.

I really liked some of the new dining options including Asian and Italian options in the Havana Bar and omelets there for breakfast. Guy's burgers were okay but the menu is meaningless. Cheeseburger, cheeseburger or cheeseburger. Don't waste time looking for a table in the Marketplace, go straight to the Havana Bar. Went to the Steakhouse and would not spend the $35/person again. You can order surf and turf in the dining room for $20 or just order the right 2 entrees for no additional charge.

Nice cabin but a little noisy. Close to the stairs but not too close. Need to be two decks below Lido or the pool deck. Storage space is rather limited and the flat screen was nice.
