Our cruise was Naturally Costa Rica.

It's SO disappointing to look forward to a cruise, read about all of the wonderful places "only small ships can go", the "private yacht style", the outstanding service with that "perfect refreshing drink appearing at your side", and not have any of it happen!

The deal: Our original cruise which was scheduled for January 30th was cancelled and we were not notified until January 6th. When we called Windstar to discuss what our options were they were indifferent about assisting. We had to change all of our travel plans which cost a great deal. Once we moved our trip forward by a week I made arrangements with Windstar to meet us at the airport but when we arrived Windstar wasn't there! We were bombarded with tons of taxi drivers vying for our business. We took a taxi to the port ($130) and finally made it to the ship - but - no one was around to help us with our luggage, welcome us aboard, etc. Read more
