This was the first cruise that we have ever taken. My wife and I and our two 19 year old children. We had 2 cabins next to each other, each with a balcony. We don't have anything to compare the cruise to so this is just a listing of what we liked and didn't like.
The staff is very well trained. In particular we were impressed with our room steward and the wait staff in the main dining room. The cruise director, Topi was great as well.
The good: Our room was a very nice size and the balcony was pretty big for a cabin of this type. The four of us could lounge quite nicely and have a snack or watch a little TV. The food in the main dining room was good and the selection varied somewhat each night. There were a lot of different lounges and bars to go to and although the drinking age is 21 our kids could go anywhere and at least hang our and watch the entertainment.
The Fair: Other than the main dining room, the food was just OK, Standard all you can eat fare. If you wanted quantity you were in good shape but we almost always ate in the main dining room anyway. We went Nassau and Coco Cay. There were a lot of people that didn't get off the ship. We did both and they were OK but we are in no hurry to go back. The ship is showing its age a little bit as well. Some parts are fantastic and some parts are a little tired.
The Bad: Nothing.
All in all a good start to our cruising lives.
Good sized with a very nice balcony.
