Very disappointed in this cruise and ship. Not many activities to do onboard unless you like trivia a lot, quality of food not good - felt like eating same thing over and over. Staff not helpful and sometimes rude. Service very slow (slow getting drinks, slow clearing tables, etc.). Shore excursions expensive and not worth the money. Too many things on ship "cost extra". Carnival has cut back on so many activities and staff that the guest is now paying for it with poor service. Have only traveled on Carnival and am always happy with the cruise and ship but not this ship or cruise. Being at sea for 4 days straight with not much to do, weather being cold and windy, did not make for a fun time. Also, Pacific Ocean is very very rough in January and ship constantly rocked and rolled until we got to Hawaii. Service in the dining room was extremely slow. Took over 2 hours every night to eat so had to rush to the comedy shows and then there were no seats so had to stand. This cruise was mostly elderly (66-85) and special needs people (lots of wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, etc.). Activities seemed to be centered around them.
