We liked this ship and its entertainment. My husband quite liked the food, but as I'm a "veggie" the food was disgusting.

Firstly the horizon buffet on deck 16 was like a works canteen, with little choice, cold food and a weird way of opening and closing different sections just as you find a seat. We often had to move mid- meal because they closed the section we were sitting in! There are 2 corridors in the area which are like the M6 at rush hour. Too many people and a constant stream of staff with trolleys and bags of rubbish and old food.also no choice of milk for tea and coffee, I would have liked skimmed milk in my tea and hot milk in my coffee, but no such luck, just the one unlabelled jug. No decaf coffee either. I felt that it was all done badly to encourage passengers to use the pay- for restaurants. One night I was offered sweet corn as the veggie choice- so I settled for cheese and biscuits.

The evening meal in the Peninsular restaurant was ok, but again for a veggie there was only ever one choice( and that was very poor). I asked for a vegetarian menu and was delighted to be shown a lovely one, however these dishes had to be ordered 24 hours ahead! Unbelievable! I pointed out that even McDonald's can do instant veggie food.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bakcony

Very well designed with plenty of hanging space and a lovely bathroom. The balcony was very small, hardly enough room for 2 chairs.
