This was our first cruise on Celebrity. We booked this cruise because it went to Key West and it was the right week. We have cruised with Carnival in the past and we like Carnival. Celebrity is different. The atmosphere is more subdued. The passengers on this cruise were older and the ship appeared to be not as crowded. The officer's on the ship were more available and when you spoke to them, they would not only speak back but carry on a conversation.

The food was excellent, the cabin and ship was very clean and it was kept that way. We loved the service and the food in the main restaurant, we also had dinner one night at Ocean Liners, the French Specialty Restaurant. The food in Ocean Liners as well as the service was excellent. Ocean Liners was well worth the extra expense. It was a great experience.

The entertainment in the theater each night was wonderful! The performers were great, in a five night cruise there were 5 different shows. As far as privacy, the cabin stewards introduced themselves at the beginning of the cruise and seemed to appear out of nowhere when we returned to our cabin with our hands full to open the door for us. They also learned our pattern and cleaned our room when we were gone and never came in the room when we were in our room. There was also places on the ship that you could find that weren't crowded so you could just sit and read in quiet.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin was great! Balcony was great and private. Plenty of storage in the room, safe and minibar. had a small couch that you could sit on to read and relax. This room was great for 2 people.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation Port. embarkation went great! We arrived at the port about 10:30AM. Gave our luggage to the porter, parked in the parking lot and went inside to check in for the cruise. Line was small and after checking in and getting our security photo taken, we were allowed on the ship. Total time was about an hour. Spent about an hour and a half at the Buffet. Cabins were ready about 1:30 and they made announcements to let you know about the cabins.

Key West

Key West was great. Ship docked downtown. Off the ship right into the streets of Key West. No need for an excursion. Key West is walkable. Went to the Little White House and did the tour, it was great. Loved Key West!

Cozumel

We had been to Cozumel on other cruises. We went into town, however, we came back to the cruise port and spent most of our time at the Port haggling with the merchants and eating and drinking at Senor Frog's. Wonderful Day!
