I have yet to go on any Carnival cruise that has "wowed" me. That being said, you can't expect a 5 star cruise, paying 3 star prices. The price for our cruise on the Fantasy was VERY cheap. Less than 300 dollars per person, including taxes and fees. So I can't really complain much.

Embarkation and debarkation were pretty painless. Baggage came to the room within 2 to 3 hours after boarding.

This ship is pretty small, I think when we went, the cruise was sold out and at full capacity.

Cabin Review

Interior Upper/Lower

Cabin 1A

we had an interior upper/lower, as I was hoping it would give us some more room in the cabin. I was wrong. These rooms are MUCH smaller than a standard interior room with 2 single beds. We were EXTREMELY cramped in the room.

I typically always see our room steward once or twice a day. I think I saw my room steward once the entire 5 days. He was pretty good at keeping our room clean, sometimes it took him quite a while to get to our room though.
