This was our eighth cruise and second with Norwegian. However, we will cruise on the smaller ships in future. The Epic advertises lots to see and do, however, to try out the speciality restaurants there is a cover charge plus 18% service charge and with 4,100 passengers trying to get a time to eat in any one is nigh on impossible. Everything appeared to have been booked up within hours of getting on board.
The stateroom although it had plenty of hanging and drawer space was quite bijou. As you open the main door the toilet is on one side and shower on the other, BOTH with opaque doors, luckily, we have been married 45 years this year - but, friends might have been embarrassed being able to see each other in either.
The sink was at the end of the bed , oval and shallow - imagine the "spit" sink at the dentists and you have it in one. NO privacy as the curtain covers the toilet, shower and door only.
Disgusted with the sink, no privacy, unable to wash properly without putting towels round it.
Not nice being on the toilet if someone calls at the door - no privacy.
After cruising on the Norwegian Spirit this stateroom aught to be remodelled - try a woman this time. No fancy gimmicks.
