Sail Date: Jan 2016

We wanted to try the Journey experience since it promised a lot of extras. So we did the back to back cruises beginning and ending in New Orleans a total of 21 days.

Our last experience on Carnival was the Miracle to Mexico out of Los Angeles which we enjoyed.

Unfortunately the Dream stuffs too many cabins on the ship resulting in a lack of public space especially on bad weather days and overall crowding on the ship. The crowding was made worst by having photo booths every day blocking the only way to go from front to rear on deck 5. That means that when you leave the comedy club in the rear and want to go to the front you have a narrow passageway. This isn't good since people are lined up waiting to go into the next show. A secret....drop down on the stairs to deck 4 and you'll have clear sailing.

Great city. Get there early to get on the ship.
