Embarkment Boarded 3 hrs before sailing no waiting in line. As we sailed on the solstice before we knew our way around. There was a good mix of cruises onboard very young to over 60s. As we are in our late 60s this was not a problem for us. The ship was alive with all kinds of music(some good some not so). The canadian duo were very good as they played various types of music. Our only gripe was there was hardly if any ballroom and latin music at night.
Dining; Did not have to use the specialty dining because the the food was very good throughout the ship. We had anytime dining so we could alternate between the main dining and the buffet. While the dining had a set menu we could have our steak or salmon grilled to our liking . Plenty of vegies to go with your roast pork ,roast turkey, roast chicken, roast lamb. roast beef, ham on the bone and best indian curries(indian chefs on board). Deserts were pretty good also. We both had free drink packages(only i upgraded which gave me access to the top brands of everything my wife was happy with hers)
The weather was fine , the island stops were great, did our own sightseeing.
Our cabin was just back of midships was very spacious bed was very comfortable with rounded bottom edges. We had a sofa to relax on and a good size balcony .
Bathroom no bad but shower cubicle very good with 2 sliding doors (no curtains). The water mixer was the best(set once for whole cruise). Plenty of storage space for the 2 of us.
Our cabin stewards leroy and dan were very very good.
Also liked the night light in the bathroom (like home).
