We have done the 5 day Bahama cruise out of Charleston a couple of time on the Fantasy. We also have cruise on several other Carnival ships and other cruise lines. We took the Jan 5th cruise because we were looking for a cheap and easy getaway after the holidays. This was our best cruise on the Fantasy out of Charleston. Yes it is an older and smaller ship than most other cruise ships but it fits the bill. Since it does not have a steakhouse on board we thought we would try the Chef's Table. It was absolutely the best meal I have ever had, period, cruise or non-cruise. Another couple said they always do the Chef's Table on every cruise and they said it was one of the best they ever had. I highly recommend it.

The food in the main dinning room was better than most cruises.

The only complaint I have is the casino needs better ventilation. The smoke if very thick. We are not big gamblers but we could not stand the smoke for long so we played less than normal.
