Review of NCL Pride of America

We were a mixed group consisting of myself (66 year old lady), my mid-30’s son and his wife, and their three boys ages 11, 9 and 5.

All in all, I would take this cruise again. I firmly believe this is the absolute best way to see Hawaii. You go to sleep at night in a comfy bed and wake up to another slice of Paradise each morning. You can’t beat that. Since this cruise operates entirely within the US, you don’t need a passport of visa, and you don’t have to waste time visiting some remote island or foreign country.

Cabin IX

Handicapped accessible room, so it was very roomy and nice. Clean, bright, comfortable beds--no complaints.

Port Reviews

Kauai

First, the family rented a car and toured Waimea Canyon on our own. It was a wonderful experience. The next morning, my son and I booked Island Helicopters for a tour. It exceeded my expectations. The helicopter seemed very safe, it had doors (they don't all) and headsets (to hear the captain), and the view was incredible.
