on embarkation we were sent to the windjammer until our luggage arrived on board. we ordrerd a wine and a beer which was suppoesed to be free as that was part of the booking arrangements. we were charged around $25.00 and had to ask the waiter why that was. he said our seapasses did not indicate free beer and wine package and told us to go to guest services. we knew how busy gs is at the start of the cruise so he told us to go to our cabin and phone them. by this time my husband was so angry he asked what time we set sail because if the mistake was not sortred by set sail then we were getting off! a waitress who overheard our conversation took pity on us and went to find a ships officer. the officer took our seapasses and checked them against their computer records and came back with new passes which included free drinks as we had been promised.his explanation was that as we had booked our cruise direct with royal caribean in the UK the incentive had not carried over to the USA computer records??????. this was the worst start to our 30th aniversary cruise. next day we noticed the drinks chargre was still on our account so had to go queue at guest services to have it removed. a lady stands at the front of the line trying to dissuade you from talking to guest services but we did eventually got it sorted. on the few other times we spoke to guest services they were unhelpful to the point of rudeness. none of our concerns were taken seriously. i have mobility problems and as on the Allure we had been given head of line privileges we asked for this on the Feedom. "EVEN IF YOU ARE DISABLED YOU DO NOT GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE" was the curt reply.

the food on this ship is awful. poor quality and overcooked, always cold and unappetising. no deviation from what was on the menu could be made suh as asking for a suace or dressing to be on the side (as i am diabetic and like to taste for sweetness before consuming a sauce) the food came from the kitchen and could not be altered even asking them to leave it off completely was not possible.

next we missed our port call at cococay with no compensation or extra time at another port. so more time at sea with the non stop advertising of goods for sale at extortionate prices. we were so glad to disembark at the next port to get to a decent restaurant and get some free WIFI usage, as the ship charges $30 per day for internet access.
