We spent three extra days in Amsterdam, which I highly recommend. There is so much to see in Amsterdam you need that time. Also the people of Amsterdam are very friendly and everyone speaks english! We stayed at the Radisson Blu, which is very nice and well located for exploring the city center. We were scheduled for the Gefjon, but were changed to the Ve instead.

Our cruise was amazing, we did not have to change ships due to low water levels, which apparently is the norm. The ports we visited on our way to BudaPest were amazing, the excursions were all well done. I liked the headphones we used on excursions, you could always hear the guide without having to bunch around them.

The ship was new, clean, the staterooms were very comfortable, the food was also very good. They had a variety of speakers in the evening, one night was a master glass blower, another were local musicians. The staff were awesome, helpful and friendly. We especially liked our "fun director" Carl. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Our cabin was very comfortable and very clean. I liked having a balcony, so you always have a view of the river and sites along the way.
