This was our first cruise and also our 40th wedding anniversary. The Viking personnel were amazing, and the service exceptional. Most of the land tours were excellent- with great guides. Food and service were fantastic.
The weather was overcast and rainy for the entire week, but the crew made the trip very special despite the weather. The rooftop seating was closed for at least half the trip- so exercise in the form of walking was limited.
These are not huge ships, although they are very comfortable. The passenger totals are very reasonable - making it possible to recognize almost everyone on board, as well as almost all of the crew.
Cabin Review
Veranda Suite
Our veranda suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything was in perfect working order. Erika cleaned our cabin every time we left it. This was a treat for someone who is always cleaning, scrubbing, washing, etc at home- A great break!!
I enjoyed the sitting areas and was thankful for the extra lounging area.
