  3. Viking Rinda
We took the Viking Rinda cruise (Paris to Normandy) that departed on 19/October/2015 and had the time of our lives. The rooms are beautiful and there is so much storage (you can store your bags under the bed, nice size closets, drawers and a refrigerator). Nice bathroom with Le Occitane bath products (very nice). The ship itself is also beautiful - very bright with lots of windows and doors. On the upper deck in addition to the sitting areas there is a track that many people walked either in the mornings or while we were under sail. What really made this cruise so fabulous was the crew. Every member of this crew went above and beyond for everyone on the ship. The food was fabulous and once again, the crew would go out of their way if you had a special request. We upgraded to the Silver Spirits package (my husband was in the wine business) and the wines were outstanding but I am not sure this is really necessary. Every evening during "Happy Hour" the activities director would update you on the following day's events and then the Chef would come out and talk to you about their specials for the evening. The tours were fabulous too. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. The buses that were used were well maintained (with restrooms) and they always had bottled water on board. The trip down to Normandy is an all day affair but was wonderful and obviously very emotional. We took the trip to the Palace of Versailles which was fabulous but my favorite excursion was the day we went into Conflans with the Chef to visit the Farmer's Market. Like others we were disappointed the ship was not docked in Paris but this is not the fault of Viking and hopefully that will change in the future. We loved our trip and can't wait to take another one.

We had the time of our lives!

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom
Cabin B 211
Loved the cabin - so much storage, very comfortable bed (although the pillows were way too soft), plenty of lighting, bottled water delivered to your room every day, nice bath products.
