I was a little concerned with this being the maiden voyage and with the exception of AC problems in my cabin the experience was fabulous.

The staff was superb especially paying special attention to my 83 year old mother who became exteremly ill (sever cold) and spent 4 days in her room. This was done for both her comfort and shielding the rest of the ship. The staff delivered food to her room 3x daily and went the extra step of preparing her special light requests that were not on the menu. I can't say enough about how caring they were to my mother's needs.

Food, staff, entertainment were excellent. Could not have asked for more. Will definately plan another cruise with Viking. Would love to see Viking in the US.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Small. Not much room to move with 2 people in the room. Pillows were not comfortable. Too soft. Problems with AC but understood it was a maiden voyage. Maintenance was very responsive.
