Sail Date: Nov 2015

This cruise was part of a 17 day tour, called Cultural Delights of China. We travelled up the Yangze River, stopping at cities and towns along the way. At each stop we had a tour.

I have been on a Viking cruise in Europe, and this cruise is different, partly because the ship is not a Viking ship, but owned by a Chinese company. 98% of the staff is Chinese, some with good English, some with passable English.

Our tour began in Shanghai and ended in Beijing. We had a tour guide who travelled with us all of the way, and accompanied us on every tour. He was excellent and provided continuity for the entire trip.

Cabin Review

The cabins were all the same with twin or a queen bed, sitting area and a balcony. Not huge, but big enough.
