My spouse and I are both early 60's and this is our 9th cruise with Princess. Our cruise left Ft. Lauderdale on Jan 4th. The AC was working but not to as someone else said, "meat locker" temp. but it worked fine. You just have to leave the patio door shut and not let the air out as we had a Premium Balcony. While the ship was in port our side of ship faced the port and our steward said it would be working upon sailing as the other side was working while in dock. He was correct and it did work upon sailing. There is new carpeting in many areas and Princess does a great job of upkeep of this ship.

Our cabin steward was super and we hardly saw him, but left us a wine bucket in our room for the duration of the cruise as we had a complimentary bottle of wine and also took two more bottles on board. Very nice as he refilled it with ice every day!

We only had dinner in the Michelangelo Dining room and it was superb! Naru quickly understood my husband is much more seafood and I am more meat and potatoes but recommended off the menu as we requested and he kept up the pace every night. One night he saw my husband finish my parmesan cheese pasta basket with chicken. Every night from then on he brought us a pasta dish to share every night. Very nice as we work different shifts and really don't eat together like most couples!

Balcony

Cabin B2

The shower is very typical but has a grab bar, so if it is not a smooth sailing or if you just need the extra stability, it is there. This room is by the laundry and you can go use the iron in there very handy. Close to laundry and great location. Love the oversized balcony, part under roof for hot or rain showers or out in the sun. Under the roof is private. These are not hinged doors/walls on the balcony for having them opened up like I have seen others do that travel and room next to their friends/family.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Great tour, we found on land and the island is beautiful! Very volcanic looking!
