Had a fantastic holiday on the Viking Star and was made to feel really special. The ship is amazing and though it was the smallest I have been on it felt so spacious and luxurious. The food was very good and varied and the service spot on. We were never kept waiting for a table for more than a few minutes even when we chose a busy time to dine.I liked the fact that all drinks with meals were included in the holiday too as were some of the excursions. The cabin was really well furnished and kept spotless by the steward twice a day. The entertainment was also very good, something for everyone. Everything about this cruise was first class and we have already booked our next one! The only niggle would be the flights to and from Barcelona. We had to fly from Manchester to Paris and wait 3 hours before flying from Paris to Barcelona. Whilst waiting at Manchester a direct flight left for Barcelona which made our wait even more frustrating. Coming home the wait in Paris was 4 hours meaning when we arrived at Manchester in the evening we had to book into a hotel rather than carry on with the long drive home. However, the Viking Cruise was a fantastic holiday and surpasses all our previous cruises. Looking forward to next year and our Baltic cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6044
The cabin was spacious, modern and light. It was kept spotless by our cabin steward and linen and towels changed regularly. I particularly liked the night lights near the bathroom and inside. There were also plenty of electric sockets for charging gadgets.
