The ship was very beautiful and the décor tasteful and elegant, including the Christmas decorations. The art work and objects displayed suited the ship perfectly. Plenty of space on board, with areas to read and relax. I liked the fact that books of all kinds were available throughout the ship. The cabin and bathroom were well arranged and the crew members friendly and efficient. I would have much preferred a kettle to the coffee machine, which I never used though I often wished I could make a cup of tea.

I enjoyed the classical music provided and appreciated the pianist, Andras. The shows I attended were good. I would have liked some more serious lectures. None of the films shown on board appealed to me but this may have reflected the fact that it was the Christmas period. The Christmas aspect of the cruise seemed rather downplayed, certainly for the British passengers - I saw no Christmas crackers, no plum pudding, no mince pies, etc. That is not really a complaint, just a comment.

I was very pleased when a birthday cake was delivered to me on 26th and the staff congratulated me.

Cabin Review

Cabin veranda de-luxe

Very comfortable and elegant. Drawer space limited. Would have preferred kettle to coffee machine. No notepad and pen.
