Husband and I have cruised at least 20 times on a variety of ocean liners as well as 3 Viking River Cruises. Viking has done an amazing job on their ocean liner. The ship has been divided into lovely, intimate, inviting spaces for reading, chatting with new friends, enjoying a hot or cold drink, and more. The fabrics, pillows, throw blankets, were chosen with care and each space laced with understated viking luxury.

Cabins were nicely appointed and the beds so comfortable with luxury linens.

The crew ALL were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and kept the ship immaculate. The dining options were all great! The Chef's Table was a special treat as Chef Hugo created really unusual and fabulous meals-we tried all three menus thanks to Igor getting us reservations.

Port Reviews

Istanbul

A beautiful day on the Bosphorus with lovely views of both sides of the city.

Istanbul

A very eerie but special excursion to the underground cistern at night.

Athens (Piraeus)

The ancient ruins in Athens are amazing.

Dubrovnik

Really enjoyed the narrative while walking around the old walled city. It was nice having extra time for a drink and a walk on the wall.
