Absolutely fantastic. We stayed in Istanbul for two days before the cruise on our own and three days in Venice at the end of the cruise. My evaluation would be to tour the Blue Mosque and Sofia Mosque in Istanbul, and spend a few days getting to know Venice at the end of the cruise.

Overall we are very pleased with the cruise and the ship. Absolutely and totally perfect in the ship's appearance, on board expectations and entertainment and food, all more than expectations. Also, the staff, especially Marta, as desk and cruise ship liason for rooms and people traffic, she was excellent.

Our rooms were more spacious than our former Viking Cruise rooms and of course the room stewards we very attentive. I used room service for late night delivery and that was very efficient. All staff were friendly and took the time to get to know us and tell us about their home town base and when they might travel again.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

very nice, more room than the past two cruises and a balcony for us, is a definite plus
