The Truth Behind The Legend – Not the Leg…End as in “table leg”…. as I heard this ship being referred to.
I saw so many negative reviews on the Legend before I got on I feel compelled to give a new and I hope fresh perspective having just recently disembarked from this ship 17th Jan 2016.
Embarkation – Honestly I was not impressed… let me finish, I booked a suite and expected a separate lounge with concierge reception etc, bit of pampering. I got bucket seats and no bubbles on arrival. Herded like cattle with a supermarket numbering system. First impressions were not good. Made to wait till 11am till we could get in …. well this was a bit of a Job’s worth award. People should have been allowed to enter and sit inside prior to embarkation, not wait outside and queue. RCL at Sydney should come in and train Brisbane in how to do business thanks.
Cabin Location – excellent, I heard minimal noise given our portside position, we had a nice table, 2 chairs and 2 loungers on the balcony. Inside was very spacious and lots of room to move. PS2 available for the child and happy child happy parent. Couldn’t fault the room, easy access to Deck 9 windjammer and along to the restaurants. Would I choose it again, yes I would.
I live in this area so embarkation was here.
Went on an extreme Jet Boat ride, self organised, was so much fun
