This was our second cruise and was highly recommended to spend New Years Eve on the Solstice. The public areas and our state room (Concierge Class) was very clean and tidy. The room attendants were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, along with the rest of the crew on board. My only negative comment is the state room was smaller than the Mini Suits on the Diamond Princess. The bed was very comfortable, wide and sleep was no problem. Close to the balcony and could see the ports when docking in the morning. The bathroom was excellent, the shower was great, good size, plenty of storage in the vanity area. Best of all, had a night light. A bottle of champagne on ice was waiting for us when we arrived along with fresh fruit and bath robes.

We ordered breakfast in the state room every morning and was delivered on time, and we enjoyed it on the balcony, viewing the ocean or the ports and islands.

We took the classic drinks package and the best decision we made. Daily cocktails listed in the news letter, champagne, cab. sav, scotch from the 11 bars, drinks from the sun set bar with cheese cake on the grassed area. Morning coffee, hot chocolate and cakes were covered in the package from the Cafe al Bacio, a must.
