First I would like to mention that we have been on over 10 cruises so we are experienced cruises with no allegiance to any specific cruise line. We have traveled only one other time on NCL.

To start, we did the land and sea cruise. This was a surprise 30 year anniversary gift to me from my husband so I didn't know until I got to the airport the details of where I was going nor that it was a cruise. So there was very little pre-planning done except for what the travel agent did.

Upon arriving at the airport and being greeted with a beautiful lei, we had a bit of a delay waiting for the bus to take us to the Marriott. Once on the bus, the drive was about 15-20 minutes to our hotel. The hotel was very nice and in a great location in Waikiki. We enjoyed the first 3 days there with excursions in the Gray Line buses and with a very accommodating tour guide Leo. We saw many sites on Oahu.

Average size balcony cabin. Good amount of storage. Clean. Worked out well for us.
