The Equinox is a beautiful ship in every way. I have been on Solstice and Silhouette as well. Equinox' crew was top notch. Our cabin team of Neves and Jason were perfect. We were in an Aqua Class cabin so we enjoyed dinners in Blu immensely. We also ate in Silk Harvest, Murano and Tuscan Grill - all 3 were great! My wife was not really impressed with the buffet, so we did lunches in MDR and we did Bistro on 5 a couple times. The food everywhere was VERY VERR GOOD, and the service was great. We heard other passengers ranting about embarkation issues but we didn't wait any more than 30-45 minutes to check in. It was my understanding Customs was very slow processing the previous passengers and that it was more an issue getting people OFF the ship.

The only negative for us was the behavior of some passengers. I heard a lot of passengers being rude and in some cases just plain mean to some of the crew members and wait staff. That is a shame. It always seems that some people get on a cruise ship and suddenly feel like they are the Royal Family. Also when it was time to disembark for us, the passengers were horrible. Nobody followed simple directions, and it was obvious that the crew was tryouts no to enforce the guidelines but passengers were just doing whatever the pleased. We did luggage valet and planned to join the "early walk off group". This is for passengers with "MINIMAL LUGGAGE" - however hundreds of passengers were holding up the line pushing and pulling multiple suitcases, it was not necessary.....

Anyway, we enjoyed our cruise immensely as we always do with Celebrity and I would recommend Celebrity to anyone!

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

Beautiful, plenty of storage for 9 nights. Bathroom was great, multi-head / multi jet shower was awesome, fog free mirror!! Balcony was great with loungers and table. We did hear an occasional rolling cart from the pool deck above us, but only now and then.
