This was my 11th cruise 2nd one with Norwegian. The first time aboard the Star was pretty good enough to try them again, not so much with this ship. Getting on and off the ship in Port Canaveral was a breeze. The ship itself was clean, and the food in dining room (Windows) was pretty good for dinner, breakfast much better at the buffet where you can get fresh cooked eggs. Dinner a the pay Japanese place was good, but certainly not worth the money.

The bad service, complete lack of service on this ship especially in the bars. Limited kinds of Alcohol poor bar staff, and the lack of bar staff. The only good server we had was Stoli in the Casino we only spent about an hour a day in there if that and he knew what we drank right after the first day and was on it ever time we were there. The other bar staff didn't care or there was not enough of them to care. Our waitress in the dining room Mayeth was excellent as well. We were without fresh wash cloths for several days when we finally asked we were told they kept coming back from the laundry stained and they could not put them back out. Really better to not have any towels get them cleaned the first time.

Tour to St. John was HORRIBLE. Spent about 45 minutes snorkeling which was fine however we spent 5 hours in transportation to get there and back. The ferry to St. John picked us up on the pier, but we had to be tendered there and than we had to wait another 20 minutes waiting for the ferry to come. After the ferry came we had to go to two other ships to pick up their passengers and than the ferry ride over to St. John. By the time we go there the shack to eat or get a drink at was already closed at 3:30. After snorkeling we had to bring other passengers back to their ship while we were dropped off back at the pier and had to wait 40 minutes for a tender back to our ship. Horrible!! The baths on virgin gorda highly recommend. Fantastic time, beautiful place, ferry ride over was a little rough with no air circulating down below but the trip was worth it, Just make sure you sit up top going and coming from there. Read more
