CABIN:

Our Premium Balcony cabin was perfectly appointed with more than adequate storage for 3 people, compact shower room with all you need, no hair conditioner just soap so remember to bring own. Balcony perfectly adequate with 2 chairs & table. Right side of ship perfect when travelling east Palma - Rome direction.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Arrived 2 days earlier Stayed Hotel Adagio Gotic area close La Ramblas. Fabulous Tapas restaurant, Hotel room little dated and small for 3 people but very good price and value for money.

Visited Port Aventura - Great Theme Park day out by Train 1.5 hrs trip from Barcelona Sants Station, Buy ticket at Station for Train & Park Entry @135 pp. Park fairly quiet at this time of year so short Q's and able to experience all of the park in the day. ( Wear comfy shoes!)

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We Live here so had no need to get off, enjoyed the Ship which was quiet as most others did the Palma trip!!

It is a great place to visit and very close to the port, which is much more attractive than other ports!

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Have done the Rome city tour previously so decided to just stay locally and visit the pretty port town of Civitavecchia - there is a free 10 min shuttle from the ship to the town centre, then it was a short stroll to the town, lovely promenade and shops / restaurants plus local market. Fab pizza from bakery sold by the slab! @ approx 2 euros!

Last year we took the tour to Rome which you can get from the small terminus where the shuttle drops you - tours leave frequently from early am till approx 9.30 this was very cheap compared to the ship prices, @approx 30 euros. for a guided tour of Rome and guarantee (!) back to ship on time for dep.

Savona

Lovely small port and market town with an impressive castle just next to the dock. Was Boxing day when we were there so mostly everywhere closed, but a lovely spot, Costa's home port, and the ship comes right into the town almost, so very close to get off and potter around locally to the ship.

Marseille

This is a really ugly & industrial looking port terminal, cant really speak for the town but we were disappointed that you can not just get off for a look around without having to pay for a 10.95 pp shuttle bus.
