Got to the port of Houston and was suprised at how quick and easy embarkation was handled. Got to the port a little early, around 10:30, got our luggage to a porter and parked the car. The port opened early, about 10:45. With three lanes open, the security line moved quickly and as Platinum Latitudes members we went straight to check-in. The process was very fast compared to the Port of Miami, three of us done in about 5 mins.

We checked into our cabin 9008. It was very clean and adequately sized for us. Great cabin steward.

A little rainy the first full day at sea, but the weather was excellent in Cozumel. Caught a cab and went to San Francisco Beach. It was nice but has changed and become more touristy in the last couple of years. $10 for a beach chair with a $8 credit back to you to use for drinks or food, not a bad deal.
