First I want to say the room with a balcony was great and roomy. The workers on board work very hard and long hours. Now the bad, This was the most unusual cruise ship that we have been on. Did not know the ship would be mainly Italians, even though I knew it was an Italian ship. Costa needs to Americanize the ship a whole lot more if it wants to cruise from FT.Lauderdale, Fla USA. This ship nickel and dimes you to death (pay for ice cream, ping pong balls and etc).

The buffets were extremly limited and had the same terrible food everyday. The same old pasta and pizza everyday. The buffet were always crowed with long lines and had to walk all around the ship to find a vacant table after the food got cold. The staff was slow cleaning the tables in buffet area. No ice tea or lemonade and sometimes no coffee. The food was not 24 hours like other cruise ships. The announcements were always in Italian and once in awhile maybe trying to speak English.

The entertainment was pretty good but started to be alike and during the the day there was not enough, VERY BORING. Interior of ship was very strange and gaudy. Enjoyed being with English speaking people when you could find them. Spoke to several of Americans and Canadians and they all said it will be the last time they will cruise with Costa. It was the worst and last cruise my wife and I will go on with Costa
